Abstract
Hoax is fake news that is distributed to the public with the aim of burning peoples emotions. It happens because of the weakness of peoples reasoning in evaluating the news and moral decline in term of tying. Hoax is dangerous for Indonesia because it has the potential to generate conflict. Therefore, a commitment to live wisely is very necessary. Living wisely means being obedient to the commands of reason and morality. Reason helps us to evaluate news critically. Moral considerations bind us to good values so that we are free from the act of deceiving others. Kata kunci: Post-Truth, hoax, wise, reason, and morality.
